Best Buddies @ Warriors Special Needs Family Appreciation Night
Hello, fellow Best Buddies Citizens! I'm so glad that you will be joining us at Chase Center for the Warriors Special Needs Family Appreciation Night at the Chase Center.
Overview
Sunday, January 7th, we'll meet at 3:00 pm at the Chase Center, San Francisco
We'll have a special pre-game experience, a $50 Warriors Team Shop gift card, $25 food and beverage card, and a post-game photo opportunity taking a free throw shot on the court!
Aaron Silverman will be recognized as an Impact Warrior!
Be sure to charge your phone before leaving for Chase Center! I'm sure we'll all be taking a lot of photos!

Toronto Raptors vs. Warriors
Tip-off at 5:30 pm
Meeting Location
We'll meet at the silver spheres located on the corner of 16th Street and Terry A Francois Blvd. I will be waiting at the foot of the stairs to the right as you face the doors of the East Entrance. Refer to the photos below. Look for the guy in the mug shot.
Please be on time to ensure that everyone in our group is together when the Warriors hosts greet us to start the tour.

During the game, our very own Aaron Silverman will be recognized as an Impact Warrior!
Visit the Warriors Special Needs Family Appreciation Night page for more information about the program. The game will likely end around 8:00 pm, but expect to be there for at least a half hour longer if you would like to participate in the free throw photo op.
Meet-and-Greet During Player Warmups
While we are at courtside watching players warm up, we'll be meeting Golden State Warriors power forward and rebounds legend, Larry "Mr. Mean" Smith, #13, who played for the Warriors from 1980–1989!
Post-Game Free Throws
Plan to stay after the game. At the end of the game, we will be escorted on the court for post-game free throws! Each of us will have a photo taken of one free throw attempt!
Chase Center Bag Policy & Other Restrictions
The Chase Center will be strictly enforcing bag restrictions. Chase Center does not allow backpacks and hard-sided bags of any kind. Ensure that your bag, purse, or briefcase dimensions do not exceed 14" x 14" x 6". Items exceeding those dimensions will have to be checked in at Chase Center Bag Check for $10 (or stored in your vehicle) before our tour begins.
🚫No outside food or beverages allowed. Chase Center does not allow outside food or beverages to be brought into the arena. Please refer to the Chase Center A to Z Guide for details on all Chase Center policies.
Getting to the Chase Center
Refer to this guide for information on getting to the Chase Center by car or public transit. Note that your event ticket is your FREE all-day Muni pass, but I'm don't know how it works for a digital ticket. If any of you know how to use your digital game ticket to ride Muni for free, please let us know!
For those of you who are driving, be sure to look for signs that specify parking restrictions, such as time limits. Parking violations in San Francisco are expensive!
Tickets
All tickets are digital. I will be sending each of you a ticket via email or text. You will click the link in the email or text to claim and access your ticket. Before accepting your ticket, be sure to install the “Warriors + Chase Center” app and set up your Golden State Warriors (GSW) account. When you are setting up your GSW account, you will be given the option* to link your Ticketmaster account to your GSW account. If you already have a Ticketmaster account, enter your Ticketmaster credentials. Refer to this guide for more information on how to set up your GSW account, to link your Ticketmaster account, and to access your tickets.
